The SAYM, or Scarborough Anglican Youth Ministry, was created to promote Christian fellowship and interaction among the youth of Anglican Churches in Scarborough, Ontario. Having been in existence for over 35 years, and having created many lifelong friendships, the main primary three objectives remain unchanged in providing Christian fellowship, providing the opportunity to meet new friends, and most of all, having fun.
Games are played on fields Tuesday evenings throughout Scarborough, from the May 24th weekend through the middle of August. Each year, the season ends with an all-day, round-robin tournament. Players from 13 to 73 years of age participate, bringing generations together. We strive for a fun, enjoyable game of softball for all who wish to participate, regardless of skill level. The softball league itself is completely non-profit, and run by volunteers from all of the participating churches. If you’re interested in more information, or how your Scarborough Parish can participate, please contact us anytime. See you on the diamond!
